How can I download my photos as a ZIP archive?

You'll have to wait while we create a ZIP archive of all the photos. Depending on load and the number of photos in your event, this can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes.

There has always been an un-enforced 5,000 photo limit on Divvyshot accounts (that's effectively 4,800 more than on flickr!). We will begin enforcing that limit next week when we release our paid accounts.
Here's the good news: If you sign up and use Divvyshot before 2/22 then you can effectively set your account's photo limit.
That's because we're going to reward our users by "grandfathering" everyone once we begin enforcing the limit. We will set your limit to the larger of:
If you've uploaded 20,000 photos your free account limit will be 21,000. If you've uploaded 1,000 photos your free account limit will be 5,000.
A note about photo sizes
Right now users can upload photos up to 30MB in size (Flickr's limit is 10MB, Picasa's is 20MB). This limit will change; we expect to increase it as camera resolutions increase.
We've been working for months on our new iPhone app, so I'm excited to announce that we've finally launched it.
The video best explains how we're different, but here are some highlights:

Several users have requested that we allow password protected albums. I threw something together to pacify everyone until we release the new version of the site.
You can try it out on one of my events:
Page: Photos from around the house
Password: "open simsim" (without the quotes)
PS: Do you have a divvyshot feature request? We respond to them! Email me (so -a t- divvyshot.com) or post it on our uservoice page: http://divvyshot.uservoice.com/.
I've received a lot of support with Divvyshot over the last several months. I'm preparing for a big release in the next few weeks so I'd like to take this opportunity to recognize everyone who's contributed to the project.
Omar Bohsali (omarish.com) - Omar you blow me away. Thanks for flying out to San Francisco for a week to develop the python API client and embeddable javascript widget. What's even cooler is that you're going to open source these projects.
Users everywhere will praise your coding prowess.
Dan Grover (dangrover.com) - Dan you've done an amazing job with the Divvyshot iPhone app (http://divvyshot.com/iphone). Everyone keep tuned on this project...we'll be releasing it in the next few weeks.
Divvyshot can now import your Gmail contacts. Check out the feature here: https://divvyshot.com/secure/contacts/import/gmail/
I've finally completed rewriting all of Divvyshot's code. It wasn't fun - but if I was ever going to do it now was the time.
The codebase should now be significantly faster and more flexible. This is very exciting because we're beginning to enter into the second stage of the project. We'll be releasing numerous features over the next few months. Stay tuned for details! -Sam
